The Blog Spot
During multidisciplinary event IT’S WEEKEND: Fashion X Cult, Martine Mathijsen and Justine Kontou created and implemented a specific concept for shopping center HEUVEL. Together with Lieke Beerens and design studio bram/stijn, they created The Blog Spot; a hangout where fashionista’s could personally meet well-known Fashion Bloggers.
Amidst public space an intimate urban jungle was created, where fashion bloggers shared their choices and interests with their followers. Offline instead of online, for a change.
Part of The Blog Spot was the One Day Blog Shop, where you could buy must-haves directly from the closet of Fashion Bloggers Kelly (We-Heart-Fashion),
Joyce (Just Like Sushi) and Linsey (Pose-Blog). These bloggers also presented Trendboards and accompanying musthaves for Autumn/ Winter 2013.
In a vacant shop, you could visit a photography exhibition, called One Day Mini Expo,
with work of photographers Jolijn Snijders, Sabrina Meijer (afterDRK) and Jamie de
Leeuw (The girls behind the camera). And enjoy inspiring presentations by bloggers
about their personal experiences with blogging.
